Coupons!!

When I first started the whole couponing thing I wasn't sure where to find them, how to get more of them, how to organize them or which websites to trust.  Here is some information on where to find your coupons and some advice on how to organize them.  It doesn't all just happen over night so keep moving forward and you will be a pro in no time.  The first time I went on a couponing adventure I forgot to give the cashier like 15 coupons and I was so irritated so I decided to get organized and never let it happen again.

Where Do You Find Coupons?

Newspapers
In the newspaper on Sunday you can usually find coupon circulars.  SmartSource, Red Plum, Procter & Gamble, General Mills and Unilever all have printed circulars.  SmartSource is in most papers and runs almost every week.  Procter & Gamble usually runs once a month.  There is a post with circular schedule here:  Circular Schedule.  Larger regional papers (SacBee or Raleigh's News and Observer) typically have more coupons.  (The Jacksonville Daily News runs SmartSource only and doesn't have as many coupons).

Online
Below are a few different trusted sites for online coupons.  Most of these sites will let you print two coupons. (It recognizes your computer's IP address and will not allow you to print more than the limit from that computer.)  You have to install a coupon printer on your computer.  The download is available at Coupons.Com.  It is a trusted program and you don't have to install the toolbar (I didn't).  It runs on Java so make sure that your Java is up to date.  You can download it here: Java

Target (Find the Coupons link at the bottom of the homepage)
Different Facebook Pages offer coupons too!

Coupons in Other Places
You can find coupons in your grocery store either hanging off of the shelf, in the little blinkie machine or in the little pull out dispensers.  Also check the inside of your product packaging!  On the inside of Emerald Breakfast Blends there is always a coupon!  Also, Disposer Care usually has a $1 off coupon inside.  If your product has a little insert check it- you may have a coupon! Also- when you sign up for product samples they usually come with coupons- and higher value coupons at that!  The Tide Stain Release sample I just received had an additional sample of Tide detergent AND a $2 off coupon!
